Thurgood Marshall Middle School Fence Replacement
For years, broken fencing around the PE upper field at Thurgood Marshall Middle School was a known safety concern. More than 1,400 students and their families used this space daily, but budget limitations kept the project from moving forward.
Suresh and a team of parents, school leadership, the San Diego Parks and Recreation Department, and Alpine Fence Co. came together to change that. They secured a private grant, coordinated with city partners, and contributed personal funding to close the gap and keep the project on track.
The result: every foot of fencing replaced. A safer campus for students, families, and staff. No bureaucratic delays. Just the right people in the same room, focused on one goal.
